All claims billed to insurance are housed in the Batch Bill program. To locate Marley’s rejected claim, open the Batch Bill and use your hotkeys to view all claims in the video display.
Next, locate and select the claim you’d like to view the rejection for. |

The reject message confirms that this refill was processed too soon. Rejected claims must be reversed so the quantity of the drug is added back to inventory, and the refill is added back to the prescription. Voiding the claim accomplishes both.
Use your hotkeys to edit the claim, modify the prescription, and void it from the Batch Bill. Remember to read all fields in the rejection screen so that you begin to understand what information a rejection screen can provide you. |

For tracking and error-prevention, PROscript will ask you to confirm your decisions and provide a reason code for the void. Step through this process until you return to the Batch Bill claims list. |

The refill has been voided, but it’s best if you also add it to the Refill Queue so it’s ready to process as soon as the next refill is due.
Use your keyboard to back out to the main PROscript screen, then open Rx Entry to get started. |

You’ll need to locate the prescription to add it to the Refill Queue. There are a few different ways to do this, but the recommended method is to locate the consumer’s profile and view the prescription from there.
Find and select Marley’s profile, making sure you have the correct account. |

Notice Marley’s profile opened directly to his list of prescriptions. Many tasks can be completed from this screen by right-clicking on a listed Rx Number.
Try this with the Lexapro prescription, then add it to the Refill Queue to trigger a new refill claim on the next appropriate date. |
